“I don’t even know where to begin. First of all, the vet that we were seeing in Mesquite was not as attentive, nor friendly enough to ask questions about our pet. We care and love our Westie as most owners do. We only want the best care for her.

Rockwall Vet says for many men and women around the world, cleaning their cat’s litter box can be an extremely excruciating task. I know two products that you should also be aware of that can make the experience more pleasant. You will learn about the pleasures of the Littermaid and the Litter Robot.

The Littermaid makes use of a rake which is able to sift through the litter and remove the waste in to a waste bin. Unfortunately the motor and rake which make this system work have a tendency to break down or malfunction. The main cause seems to be that chunks in the litter can get caught under the rake and prevent it from working.

If you are not taking that chance, then the Litter Robot is another alternative. Its disposes of the waste via a rotating sift method. There is no rake where large chunks get caught reducing the risk of break down. It seems that most people have more luck with the method rather than the rake style one.

I like the Littermaid because of how easy it makes waste removal. It puts the waste in the bag for you automatically. The catch is that these are special bags and you would need to buy them again. The Litter Robot makes you have to remove the tray and transfer the waste to another bag. Each of these systems work well but the Littermaid is more advantageous.

The prices can be a deterrent to many people. The Litter Robot costs more than three hundred dollars and the Litter maid is less expensive in most pet shops. Just keep in the back of your head that the Litter Robot does not need special waste bags that need replacement.

In both cases I would consider them well worth the price. Not having the smell and hassles of traditional litter boxes makes the price justifiable.
